Founded in 1921, Robison has earned the reputation of being Westchester and Putnam counties’ premier full-service home comfort company.

In 1984, important changes were set in motion when the Singer family–who had been in the heating oil business in the New York Metropolitan area since 1927–acquired the company. At the time of the acquisition, Robison provided service to approximately 7,000 homes. Under Singer management, that number has nearly quadrupled.

This successful growth can be attributed to the fact that the company remains a family-run organization, led by brothers David Singer and Daniel Singer. Other services are offered through trusted Robison partners, including BrightHome Energy Solutions, a leading insulation and home efficiency company, and 911 Restoration, which specializes in water, fire and smoke damage restoration services and mold testing and remediation.
