    The Big Task

    You will diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems and guide customers to informed and confident buying decisions.

    Key Sub Tasks

    • Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams.
    • Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.
    • Keep your truck inventory up to date.
    • Properly complete paperwork.
    • Join the on-call rotation.
    • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
    • Have and maintain a clean driving record.
    • Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.
    • Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this.

  • Service Team Leader

    We are looking for a Service Team Leader to oversee and manage a team of HVAC technicians in providing efficient and effective HVAC services to our clients.

    Duties include:

    · Troubleshoots issues and recommends and implements solutions.

    · 25% of time in field directly supervises techs on the job and provides positive and constructive feedback as appropriate; assists with disciplinary issues.

    · 25% Trains technicians on equipment, procedures, and protocols; assists in developing and delivering training programs.

    · Ensures that all work is performed according to safety guidelines, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment.

    · 50% Administration, handle follow up calls for return visits, resolves issues, export and review work orders, and payroll

    · Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

    HVAC industry knowledge a must

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or other employees of organization.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

    REASONING ABILITY:

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete varies in standardized situations.

    OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

    Analytical - Collects and researches data; Designs work flows and procedures;

    Design - Uses feedback to modify customer satisfaction;

    Judgment - Includes appropriate people in decision-making process;

    Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions

    Advanced customer service skills. Ability to multi-task, Organized, Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills, Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required, Computer skills and ability to work in multiple applications in fast paced environment.

    • Team Leaders spend 50% of their time in the office and 50% at service locations (customer’s homes).
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
    • Team Leaders are not required to carry tools in their vehicles nor do they touch or repair equipment. If work is needed, Team Leader will advise service technician of the repairs needed.
