  • Dispatcher

    Maintain the Service Technicians daily schedules and dispatch the technicians as service calls are completed. Maintain customer database with current information. Clear and concise communications with department managers, employees and company customers, including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead-times. Assists with coordinating vehicle maintenance, as well as managing productivity of the service technicians.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Take incoming customer calls on the weekends and after hours.
    • Schedule and coordinate all service calls as calls are received
    • Create dispatch ticket for all service calls on weekends and after hours
    • Dispatch Service Technicians, one call at a time
    • Dispatch Service Technicians from home to first call
    • Debrief Service Technicians after completion of each call (if necessary)
    • Respond to all messages left overnight
    • Maintain the dispatch board / schedule
    • Contact customers with ETA if a technician is running late
    • Forward list of parts needed by technicians and arrange delivery of parts to the location.
    • Prepare paperwork for all Field Supervisors
    • Maintain service reports and logs.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

    Two years related experience and/or training in customer service, dispatching or project management or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintantence instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or other employees of organization.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

    REASONING ABILITY:

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete varies in standardized situations.

  • Electrician

    Responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems for mostly residential customers in Westchester and Putnam counties.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring
    • Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components
    • Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards
    • Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
    • Complete required documentation of repairs and service information
    • Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts
    • Calibrate equipment to provided specifications
    • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
    • Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years of electrical experience
    • Valid driver’s license in state of practice
    • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
    • Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
    • Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
    • Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
    • Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems
    • Willing to work overtime

    Offer support to the Installation and Sales team to assist members in reaching monthly sales targets by performing the following duties:

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • File all permits on a timely basis for both Install and Service once paperwork is approved or immediately in emergency situations
    • Update Virtual Folder Cover Sheets when permits are filed and issued.
    • Place copy of all permit applications in Virtual Folders
    • Update Esys once permits are filed
    • Physical drop off of permit applications to municipalities where and when necessary
    • Follow up on permits with municipalities
    • Provide oil manifests after oil tank installations to municipalities
    • Schedule final inspections on a timely basis
    • Update Esys when final inspections are scheduled
    • Maintain and update Permit Requirements spreadsheet
    • Maintain and update open and pending permit report
    • Maintain both Install and Service permit checking accounts, write all checks for permits, and enter on spreadsheet.
    • Assist with entering labor hours into Account mate for installs
    • Move Virtual Folders to Closed jobs once final inspections have been completed

    • During any free time, all team members are to assist fellow team members with daily responsibilities of installation department.

    We are currently seeking a Home and Safety Assessor to be on the road or work out of our Portchester, NY office. The right person will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team for a growing company.

    To be successful in this position, have an interest in mechanical systems, can-do attitude, able to work a flexible schedule – including some Saturdays, provide support to our Sales Department as needed, able to multi-task, be a team player.

    Industry experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

    Job Purpose:

    Survey current and potential customers’ homes to collect and analyze home comfort and safety data and interact with the homeowner as a company representative. Collect indoor air quality readings using state of the art instruments. Learn to match home solution products based on collected data to customer needs. Home survey representative will be able to introduce the products and services of the company to the homeowner.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Complete home survey
    • Review survey findings with the homeowner.
    • Record all data and results using the company’s app on phone
    • Use collection instruments to obtain required data in home to determine air quality and comfort requirements.
    • Complete oil tank inspections and readings in support of service and sales departments.
    • Install Wi-Fi tank monitors.
    • Distribute marketing material as required to support sales and marketing initiatives.
    • Understand and communicate the relationship between the data collected and related home solution needs.
    • Help to educate the homeowner on needed home solutions based on data collection results and close the sales of these products and services.
    • Adhere to company procedures and policies.

    Working Environment
