    The Big Task

    You will diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems and guide customers to informed and confident buying decisions.

    Key Sub Tasks

    • Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams.
    • Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.
    • Keep your truck inventory up to date.
    • Properly complete paperwork.
    • Join the on-call rotation.
    • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
    • Have and maintain a clean driving record.
    • Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.
    • Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this.

    We are currently seeking a Home and Safety Assessor to be on the road or work out of our Portchester, NY office. The right person will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team for a growing company.

    To be successful in this position, have an interest in mechanical systems, can-do attitude, able to work a flexible schedule – including some Saturdays, provide support to our Sales Department as needed, able to multi-task, be a team player.

    Industry experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

    Job Purpose:

    Survey current and potential customers’ homes to collect and analyze home comfort and safety data and interact with the homeowner as a company representative. Collect indoor air quality readings using state of the art instruments. Learn to match home solution products based on collected data to customer needs. Home survey representative will be able to introduce the products and services of the company to the homeowner.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Complete home survey
    • Review survey findings with the homeowner.
    • Record all data and results using the company’s app on phone
    • Use collection instruments to obtain required data in home to determine air quality and comfort requirements.
    • Complete oil tank inspections and readings in support of service and sales departments.
    • Install Wi-Fi tank monitors.
    • Distribute marketing material as required to support sales and marketing initiatives.
    • Understand and communicate the relationship between the data collected and related home solution needs.
    • Help to educate the homeowner on needed home solutions based on data collection results and close the sales of these products and services.
    • Adhere to company procedures and policies.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
